LVL Door Core

LVL Door Core is a structural panel of wood veneers laminated and pressed in the same fiber direction, made for interior door core manufacturing.

It delivers higher strength and more stable physical properties than traditional solid wood cores, with strong suitability for solid wood composite, molded, and fire doors.

  • Aligned veneer build

Multiple layers glued and pressed with fibers in the same direction.

  • Higher strength

Stronger structural performance versus traditional solid wood cores.

  • Stable properties

More consistent physical behavior for reliable door cores.

  • Door industry use

Widely applied in composite, molded, fire doors, and related components.

NOTE: All products can be custom made in size and finish for your specific application.

Product Features

  • High strength, not easy to deform

Multi-layer longitudinal laminated structure makes it has excellent bending and compression resistance, not easy to warp and crack, especially suitable for door body with high requirements on flatness and strength.

  • Uniform structure, dimensional stability

LVL has no knots and gaps in the interior, and the density of the whole board is consistent, which effectively improves the stability of the core and the processing yield. 3.

  • Light weight and high efficiency

Compared with solid wood core material, LVL has moderate density, which can effectively reduce the overall weight of the door and lower transportation and installation costs.

  • High environmental protection grade

can use E0, E1 grade environmental protection glue, in line with the European and American market environmental certification standards (such as CARB, EPA, CE, etc.).

  • Easy to process, customizable

Easy to saw, slot, drill, and customize according to customer's size, suitable for automated production line.

  • Cost-effective

Replacement of traditional door core materials such as solid wood, particle board, blockboard, etc., with better cost performance and more cost advantages in bulk purchase.

Applications

  • Various types of indoor door core (composite door, molded door, paint-free door, etc.)

  • Fire door, soundproof door core structure

  • Solid wood door frame, door cover strip

  • Customized wooden doors, industrial doors, construction door core materials

  • Hotel, apartment, office building and other high-end door supporting materials
