OSB(Oriented Strand Board)

OSB

OSB (Oriented Strand Board) is a kind of structural board made of small diameter timber and fast-growing timber (e.g. poplar, pine) as raw material, which is sliced into long strips and glued under high temperature and high pressure by directional lay-up. In the three-layer structure, the surface layer is oriented along the length of the board, and the core layer is cross-arranged, thus giving the board excellent mechanical properties and dimensional stability.
OSB is an ideal material for modern building structures, furniture manufacturing, packaging industry, decoration projects and other fields, and is commonly used for load-bearing walls, roofing substrates, flooring substrates, container flooring and other applications.

NOTE: All products can be custom made in size and finish for your specific application.

Product Features

  • High strength

superior compression and bending resistance compared to conventional plywood.

  • Cost-effective

wide source of raw materials, lower cost, suitable for large-scale use.

  • Dimensional stability

laminated structure reduces deformation and resists warping and cracking.

  • Good moisture resistance

add wax and waterproof adhesive, can resist moisture but not fully waterproof .

  • Highly workable

easy to saw, nail, groove and make T&G edges.

  • ECO-FRIENDLY

E0/E1 low formaldehyde adhesive can be used, the raw material is sustainable.

OSB Product Advantages

  • High Structural Strength

The panels are made of long wood pieces laid in a directional manner and have a uniform structure and high flexural strength for structural load-bearing applications.

  • Excellent Dimensional Stability

Not easy to deform, warp or crack, adapt to various construction and climate conditions.

  • Excellent Moisture Resistance

The surface layer is tightly pressed and firmly glued, which is suitable for use in humid or changeable climates.

  • Eco-friendly and Low Formaldehyde

adopts E0/E1 environmentally friendly adhesive, which conforms to international environmental standards and is suitable for interior decoration and furniture manufacturing.

  • Multi-purpose Adaptability

can be used for wall structure, roofing panels, flooring substrates, packaging boxes, shelves and other multiple uses, replacing traditional plywood.

  • Convenient Processing

The surface is flat and easy to saw, punch, bond and paint, enhancing construction efficiency.

Applications

  • Construction

wall, floor, roof sheathing, structural panels.

  • Interior build-outs

furniture backing, partitions, ceilings, work surfaces.

  • Pallets & packaging

    crates, industrial pallets.

  • DIY & decorative

    sanded/painted for visible interior use.

Engineered for Strength and Stability

Our oriented strand board plywood (OSB) is crafted from cross-oriented wood strands bonded with moisture-resistant resin. This engineered structure provides:

  • 1. Uniform strength across the panel
  • 2. High load-bearing capacity
  • 3. Dimensional stability under temperature and humidity changes
  • 4. Smooth surface for easy handling and installation

Versatile Applications Across Construction

OSB plywood panels are widely used in:

  • 1. Subfloor systems for homes and buildings
  • 2. Roof decking in residential and commercial roofing
  • 3. Wall sheathing to reinforce structural framing
  • 4. Furniture substrate and packaging panels

With enhanced moisture resistance and reduced edge swelling, our OSB maintains stability and integrity in humid environments, ensuring long-term performance and reduced maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions FAQs

  • What is the difference between OSB and plywood?
OSB is made from oriented wood strands and provides uniform strength at a lower cost, while plywood is made of wood veneers. Both are used in structural sheathing, flooring, and roofing.
  • Is OSB plywood moisture resistant?
Yes, our OSB panels are engineered with water-resistant resins and coatings, minimizing swelling and delamination.
  • What thicknesses are available for OSB?
We offer OSB panels in multiple thicknesses ranging from 6mm to 18mm, suitable for subflooring, sheathing, and more.
